4:39 … consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.

23:23 Am I a God at hand, saith the Lord, and not a God afar off?

30:17  … I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord;

29:11 … I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

12  Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

13  And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

3:5 ¶ Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

45:5 I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me:

41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

SH 414:21-22

The Scripture declares, “The Lord He is God [good]; there is none else beside Him.”

SH 468:9-11 There

There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter. All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all.

SH 331:11-16 From

From this it follows that nothing possesses reality nor existence except the divine Mind and His ideas. The Scriptures also declare that God is Spirit. Therefore in Spirit all is harmony, and there can be no discord; all is Life, and there is no death.

SH 275:20-23

Divine metaphysics, as revealed to spiritual understanding, shows clearly that all is Mind, and that Mind is God, omnipotence, omnipresence, omniscience, — that is, all power, all presence, all Science.

53:2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

5 There were they in great fear, where no fear was:

27:1  The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

31:8  … the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

8:41  … behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus’ feet, and besought him that he would come into his house:

42  For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a-dying.

49  While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.

50  But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.

4:18  There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear:

SH 493:20-22

Disease is an experience of so-called mortal mind. It is fear made manifest on the body.

SH 411:21-22

Disease is always induced by a false sense mentally entertained, not destroyed.

SH 392:5-8

Fear, which is an element of all disease, must be cast out to readjust the balance for God. Casting out evil and fear enables truth to outweigh error.

SH 411:27-28, 32-1

Always begin your treatment by allaying the fear of patients.

If you succeed in wholly removing the fear, your patient is healed.

1:12 Art thou not from everlasting, O Lord my God, mine Holy One?.

13 Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity:

8:31  Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

31  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

43  Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

44  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

10:38 … God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

SH 584:17 (only) (to 3rd ;)

DEVIL. Evil; a lie; error;

SH 357:4-9

God is “of purer eyes than to behold evil.” We sustain Truth, not by accepting, but by rejecting a lie.

Jesus said of personified evil, that it was “a liar, and the father of it.” Truth creates neither a lie, a capacity to lie, nor a liar.

SH 71:1

Nothing is real and eternal, — nothing is Spirit, — but God and His idea.  Evil has no reality.  It is neither person, place, nor thing, but is simply a belief, an illusion of material sense.

SH 466:13

Truth is immortal; error is mortal.  Truth is limitless; error is limited. Truth is intelligent; error is non-intelligent. Moreover, Truth is real, and error is unreal. This last statement contains the point you will most reluctantly admit, although first and last it is the most important to understand.

SH 201:17

The way to extract error from mortal mind is to pour in truth through flood-tides of Love.  Christian perfection is won on no other basis.

5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

4:33 … in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,

34 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth?

35 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.

36 And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

38 ¶And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon’s house. And Simon’s wife’s mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.

39 And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her:

40 ¶Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.

SH 476:32-5

Jesus beheld in Science the perfect man, who appeared to him where sinning mortal man appears to mortals. In this perfect man the Saviour saw God’s own likeness, and this correct view of man healed the sick. Thus Jesus taught that the kingdom of God is intact, universal, and that man is pure and holy.

SH 259:11

The Christlike understanding of scientific being and divine healing includes a perfect Principle and idea, — perfect God and perfect man, — as the basis of thought and demonstration.

SH 395:6-10

Like the great Exemplar, the healer should speak to disease as one having authority over it, leaving Soul to master the false evidences of the corporeal senses and to assert its claims over mortality and disease.

SH 302:19

The Science of being reveals man as perfect, even as the Father is perfect, because the Soul, or Mind, of the spiritual man is God, the divine Principle of all being, and because this real man is governed by Soul instead of sense, by the law of Spirit, not by the so-called laws of matter.

SH 428:22-23

The great spiritual fact must be brought out that man is, not shall be, perfect and immortal.

103:1 Bless the Lord, O my soul:

3  Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

4  Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

46:1  God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

15:29 And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.

30  And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them:

31  Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

24 … What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

9:23  If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

5:16 The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

15 … the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up;

6:6  … pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

8  … your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

SH 12:31-1

In divine Science, where prayers are mental, all may avail themselves of God as “a very present help in trouble.”

SH 1:1-4

The prayer that reforms the sinner and heals the sick is an absolute faith that all things are possible to God, — a spiritual understanding of Him, an unselfed love.

SH 2:15-16

Prayer cannot change the Science of being, but it tends to bring us into harmony with it.

SH 210:11-16

Knowing that Soul and its attributes were forever manifested through man, the Master healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf, feet to the
lame, thus bringing to light the scientific action of the divine Mind on human minds and bodies and giving a better understanding of Soul and salvation.

SH 111:11-13 (to ; )

The Principle of divine metaphysics is God; the practice of divine metaphysics is the utilization of the power of Truth over error;

SH 417:10-16

Maintain the facts of Christian Science, — that Spirit is God, and therefore cannot be sick; that what is termed matter cannot be sick; that all causation is Mind, acting through spiritual law. Then hold your ground with the unshaken understanding of Truth and Love, and you will win.

SH 380:5-6 (to 1st ,)

Truth is the rock of ages, the headstone of the corner, …

“Dedication through Healing”
By Miriam Hand Douglas, March 29, 1947

“A Christian Science church is dedicated when its cornerstone is healing, because spiritual healing is that which separates this Science from all other religions. It is the cornerstone on which our whole movement must be built.”
“An unprejudiced study of Christian Science would convince…”

By Edward W. Dickey, May 6, 1911
“Christian Science builds upon the corner-stone that God is the only Mind, Life, Truth, Love, the sole cause and creator of the universe.”

Self-Government Is God’s Government
By Paul Stark Seeley, June 1, 1946
“This spiritual fact—the unity or oneness of man with God—is the cornerstone of the Science of Life, and in this living fact is the key to true self-government.”

Living the Scientific Role
By Peter V. Ross, May 22, 1943
The author of Science and Health makes perfect God and perfect man the cornerstone of Christian Science.
This is why we say that man is spiritual, not material. This is why we say that man, truly, cannot be put in jeopardy, suffer accidents, be reached by the weapons of war, be touched by disease, be weighed down by despair, be victimized by evil, fall short of the kingdom of heaven.

The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany,

By Mary Baker Eddy

My. 252:10
“The entire purpose of true education is to make one not only know the truth but live it — to make one enjoy doing right, make one not work in the sunshine and run away in the storm, but work midst clouds of wrong, injustice, envy, hate; and wait on God, the strong deliverer, who will reward righteousness and punish iniquity. “As thy days, so shall thy strength be.”
